This series of quilts is based on the spectacular Kimberley region up north in Western Australia. It is a wilderness frontier with rugged ranges, spectacular gorges and waterfalls. Boabs dot the landscapes with their bulbous trunks and leafless branches. The Kimberley and Gibb River Road have been on my husband's and my bucket list for ages, and when our son was sent to Broome for a University placement we had the perfect excuse to visit.....
